Adobe Photoshop CC 2026 for Photographers

This course focuses on using Adobe Photoshop as a powerful post-processing tool for photographers. Students will learn essential photo-editing techniques, including non-destructive workflows, layers, masks, retouching, color correction, and image enhancement. Emphasis is placed on improving image quality while maintaining a natural, professional look. Through hands-on projects, students will refine their photographs for print and digital use, develop an efficient editing workflow, and gain confidence using Photoshop to enhance their creative vision.

Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 2026 for Photographers

This course introduces photographers to Adobe Lightroom as a professional tool for organizing, editing, and enhancing digital photographs. Students will learn efficient photo workflow practices, including importing, cataloging, rating, and exporting images. Emphasis is placed on non-destructive editing techniques such as exposure correction, color adjustment, cropping, retouching, and preset creation. Through hands-on projects and real-world editing scenarios, students will develop the skills needed to refine their images while maintaining consistency and creative intent. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently edit and manage photo collections using industry-standard practices.

DSLR Basics: Understanding Your Camera

This 2 hour class introduces students to the fundamentals of digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) photography. Students will learn how a DSLR camera works and how to confidently use manual controls, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, and white balance. Through hands-on shooting activities and guided practice, students will explore composition, lighting, and camera techniques while developing an understanding of how settings affect image quality. By the end of the course, students will be able to operate a DSLR camera independently and create well-exposed, thoughtfully composed photographs.

Zoo Photography Lecture

This zoo photography lecture will give an in depth overview of the workflow, composition, lighting, equipment, settings, techniques and tips that are utilized to capture intimate portraits of these beautiful and exotic animals. Each image will be analyzed and dissected to show how it was created. Post processing techniques will also be examined in this engaging presentation.

Bird Photography Lecture

This bird photography lecture will give an in depth overview of the equipment guide, camera and lens settings, shooting modes, focusing modes, sharpness and resolution, perspective, composition, locations and tips that are utilized to capture intimate portraits of these beautiful and exotic creatures. Each image will be analyzed and dissected to show how it was created. Post processing techniques will also be examined in this engaging presentation.
